Abstract

Mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma (MTSCC) of the kidney is a rare variant of renal cell carcinoma, which has recently been recognized as a distinct entity. The tumor demonstrated solid appearance and showed gradual enhancement on dynamic study. The mass showed low signal intensity on T2WI and high signal intensity on DWI. This is the first report which mentions the imaging appearance of MTSCC with sarcomatoid change.
