Abstract

A 40-year-old man with right renal cell carcinoma and multiple metastatic lesions underwent radical nephrectomy, followed by the intramuscular administration of recombinant human interferon α-2b for lung lesions. At six months after the start of interferon treatment, the multiple lung lesions had completely disappeared from a CT scan. This patient remains free of recurrence 2 years after surgery.
