Abstract

Wireless network is common in the indoor and outdoor. One of the important problem is the better deployment of the access point for designing and constructing an efficient wireless network. Therefore, there are researches to determine the better deployment of access point. However, the considerations to fulfill the better deployment seem to be lacking in these researches. To keep the efficient wireless network, framework of better deployment for access point is necessity. Thus, we proposed Virtual Access Point(VAP) to be used for the better deployment of access point. VAP is a logical access point constructed by virtualization technique and independently keeps the configuration of wireless network in physical access point. VAP moves to another physical access point with executing live migration.
