Abstract

A magnetic flowmeter with conductive pipe walls is proposed, in which a potential distribution is formed on the wall by applying voltage proportional to flowrate. The distribution is kept identical to the flow induced potential at the fluid/wall boundary, so that a similar boundary condition is realized. Recent results and computer simulations are described.
