Abstract

Two cyclic difluoromethylene acetal polymers were synthesized, of which poly(2-difluoromethylene-1,3-dioxolane) without ring-opening structure showed good solubility in fluorinated alcohols as well as high thermal and chemical stability. This polymer may have potential applications such as coating, waveguide, and photoresist materials.
