N2 - In this study, we investigated relation between control strategy and skill development in manual speed control. An object of this study was a train operation that instant judgment was demanded. A simple train-simulator was made on a personal computer, and experiments were conducted with it for observing control strategies. Through the experiments, following three strategies were observed; first strategy was that to make judgment positively, second strategy was that to wait change of situation and third strategy was middle of between first strategy and second strategy. Observing results of the experiments, the first strategy contributed to skill development effectively. It was important that an operator was conscious of own judgment timing and compensating for the deviation. Then, based on the results, we proposed a new training method to educate the proper strategy. By verification experiments, validity of the proposal training method was obtained.
