Abstract
This paper presents an archive containing blouse detailed patterns using the apparel CAD automatic drafting functions. The archive has the following three characteristics : (1) Cyclopedic in that all the contents of blouse drafting education are collected ; (2) Intentional in that the underlying automatic drafting functions can produce different patterns according to individual sizes and designs; and (3) Self-improving in that individually-designed patterns can also be maintained in the archive for their reuse. The archive makes it possible to establish an effective environment for teaching the skill of drafting fundamental top items in the standard clothing construction courses.
