Analysis of analgesic and antipyretic drugs by LC/MS

Abstract

A procedure for simultaneous determination of sixteen analgesic and antipyretic drugs in human plasma has been developed using a liquid chromatography / mass spectrometry (LC/MS). The analgesic and antipyretic drugs in human plasma were extracted with a OASIS MAX® cartridge column. The detection limits were 0.1-3.0 μg/ml. The present procedure seems useful as a convenient screening and determination method in forensic chemistry.
