Abstract

Recently, on the diagnostic imaging of large intestines, endoscopic examination comes to be mainstream and the number of barium enema study decreases. However, the reason for the decline of the barium enema study is not due to its inferiority to the colonoscopy on the diagnostic efficiency, but its fall of the quality of examination technique and diagnostic level. Then, we introduce our recent techniques on the X-ray device, the contrast medium and the examination method to depict minute colo-ractal lesions.
