Abstract
An ion-se1ective electrode based on a naturally ocurring carboxylic polyether antibiotic salinomycin is described which exhibits high Ba2+ selectivity. The selectivity coefficients of pot pot the electrode basedon salinomycin, logBaca, log KBaK and pot log are -2.65, -2.86 and -3.55, respectively.
