Abstract

When we use a tabletop display, we need a display system that can show shared and personalized information to each user around it. For this purpose, we think view dependent displays, which can show different images according to the viewing directions, are suitable. So far, we have developed some types of view-dependent tabletop displays. However, there were some limitations of system sizes and shapes since we adopted a rear-projection approach. On the other hand, this time we propose a novel view-dependent display using just single overhead projector. In addition, it can show images on the surface of tabletop physical object. In this paper, we describe the system design and an application of this system.
