Abstract
We demonstrate a 5 × 5 wavelength selective cross-connect (WSXC) constituted by two newly developed MEMS devices with 5 × 46 micro-mirrors arranged two-dimensionally and Monk-Gillieson spectroscopic optics system, which is applicable to a 100-GHz channel grid. The introduction of the optics system leads to a WSXC with a small volume of 180 × 170 × 40 mm 3.
