Control of telomerase function on SPR sensor using polymer particles

Abstract

The interaction of G-quadruplex (G4) DNA with telomerase inhibitors was investigated using SPR sensor. SPR signal was enhanced with polymer particle on which inhibitor was immobilized. The relation among molecular structure of inhibitors, inhibition activity and the effect of polymer particles was discussed. And we also evaluated stabilization ability of G4 by SPR signal of annealing between G4 and telomerase RNA (tR). The results suggested polymer particle led to SPR signal enhancement of interaction between G4 and telomerase inhibitors and the property of inhibitors immobilized on particle was unchanged.
