Abstract
With increasing awareness of the urban sustainability. the interests of risk management methods for structural health have increased. Thus, various system identification methods and damage detection methods have been proposed. Using those algorithms. The, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems have been developed. As a result, the number of real structures with SHM systems is increasing. However, the information obtained by SHM has not ever been shared effectively, because the existing systems are only for individual structures. In fact, standardized evaluation procedure has not been established yet in spite of the progress of SHM technologies. While, the demand from the society that users want to know about the health information of their own houses is growing. Hence, we need the system that can collect and store the data from structures and also analyze and disclose the data to users. In our laboratory, smart sensor unit (data acquisition and data management), data analysis method (system identification and damage detection), and user interface (Web site, data abstraction. MATLAB Web Server and sensor management) for SHM have been studied and developed. This SHM system evaluates the soundness of structures dotted over wide areas using SHM technology and networks, and publishes the result of diagnosis to the public. In the past research, the usefulness of analyzing and publishing the data on the Web has been shown. However, the challenges in data management have been unresolved, (e.g. data were only managed by layered directory, data were collected by hand, et al ) Recently, the data management for SHM systems has been extensively studied for automatic-data acquisition and registration by smart sensors. In this study, sensor information management system which uses web is proposed. The SUZAKU-V(3) and Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) enable us easy configuration of the sensor information.
