Abstract

To establish the new standard LET spectrometer we have developed the -TPC for the detection of cosmic-ray. As a result, through the simulation study the condition in the drift cage was greatly improved and the possibility of tissue equivalent drift cage was proved. Further experiments are needed to examine the specific prosperity of using tissue equivalent material for PS-TEPC. We plan to carry out a beam test of heavy ion irradiation using the heavyion medical accelerator complex (HIMAC) at the National Institute of Radiological Science (NIRS).
