Development of high speed transmission system over GI-POF

Abstract

This paper will describe features of our newly developed PCP GI POF (partially chlorinated polymer based GI POF) and evaluation results of a high speed transmission system using the PCP GI POF and the ultimate easy connection module (OptoLock®) with a novel long-life red VCSLE. Evaluation results of coupling loss of the PCP GI POF cut by a newly developed cutter for OptoLock® and radio frequency over POF system with PFP GI POF (per fluorinated polymer based GI POF) will be also indicated.
