    Abstract

    Dispersion compensation of 40 Gbit/s, NRZ signal is successfully demonstrated. The arrayedwaveguide grating based dispersion compensator has the dispersion of 123 ps/nm, the bandwidth of 70 GHz and the insertion loss of 7.5 dB.
