Abstract

The effect of finite relaxation time on modeling neutral transport in low-temperature hydrogen plasma was studied. The validity of the quasi-steady state approximation of collisional radiative model for a neutral transport simulation of detached divertor plasma was discussed. The one-dimensional Monte Carlo calculation results was found to support the transport effects.
