Abstract
The hydrogen concentration around high strength steels with elastic recoil detection analysis (ERDA) was evaluated and the hydrogen mobility at room temperature is discussed. It was demonstrated that the hydrogen cathodically charged into high strength steels could be detected by ERDA. The hydrogen concentration increased with the charging time up to approximately 1050 ppm.
