Abstract

This paper aims at proposing a noncontact method to estimate the acceleration from position and speed signals. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed experimentally using a rotary encoder and a rotating-field-type synchronous generator. Performances of a control system using the acceleration signal thus detected also are tested.
