Experiments on signal extraction from synchronized chaos in microchip lasers for secure communications

    Abstract

    Message extraction from chaotic receiver output of a microchip laser was experimentally demonstrated. It was shown that there is a larger gain of the transfer function of the slave laser for the sinusoidal message component than the broadband chaotic components.
