Fabrication and characterization of carbon nanotube-polymer saturable absorbers for mode-locked lasers

Abstract

A method to fabricate Carbon Nanotube-doped Polymer composites is proposed and the merits of adding dopants to the material are analyzed. Passive mode-locked lasing is demonstrated using a thin-film CNT-based saturable absorber.
