Abstract

Internet ITS platform is designed to collect and share valuable information from vehicles via the Internet. On the other hand, behavior of anti-lock braking system (ABS) indicates slippery (black ice/poor road traction) place. It is possible to generate a slippery place map by gathering behavior of ABS signal through the Internet ITS platform from many vehicles with a position. This paper is a feasibility study for generation of emergency indication by Internet ITS platform. In this study, behavior of ABS signal was gathered from different two vehicles in slippery Circuit based on the Internet ITS data format. Result of study, gathered behavior ABS signal from two experiment vehicles to "the Slip hazard map" could be created.
