Abstract

Amorphous thin films of Gd-Fe alloy are fabricated by the vapor quenching method. From measurements of FMR of these films, values of g-factor and effective magnetization are obtained over a wide range of composition. The Tsuya-Wangsness formula is examined with special attention to the shift of compensation composition.
