N2 - This paper presents frequency modulation/pulse width modulation (FM/PWM) control for class DE inverter. Further, FM/PWM controlled class DE inverter is analyzed. Since the FM/PWM controlled inverter has two control parameters, it it is able to control the output power with high power conversion efficiency. Carrying out the circuit experiments, we confirm that the experimental results agree with the theoretical predictions quantitatively.
