Abstract
Four new isoprenoid-substituted phenolic constituents, semilicoisoflavone B (1), isoangustone A (2), 1-methoxyficifolinol (3), and licoriphenone (4), along with nine known phenolic compounds, were isolated from a commercial licorice (root of Glycyrrhiza sp.) and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical means.
