High-Q silica zipper cavity with strong opto-mechanical coupling for optical radiation pressure driven directional switching

Abstract

We study a radiation pressure driven optical directional switch with a high-Q silica-zipper cavity numerically. We showed the feasibility of a switch with a 17.8-dB extinction ratio.
