Homogeneous and cohomogeneity-one objects in the five-dimensional anti-de-sitter spacetime

Abstract

We classify all cohomogeneity-one cosmic strings in the five-dimensionalanti-de-Sitter space, by classifying the Killing vector fields up to isometry. The local isomorphism of SO(4, 2) and SU(2, 2) and the notion of H-similarity are effectively used. The result is useful also for the classification of higher-dimensional objects.
