Huge deformations of laguerre-gaussian beams reflected and refracted at a dielectric interface

Abstract

We observe intensity distributions of the reflected and refracted Laguerre-Gaussian beams near the critical incidence. Their transverse deformations are evident with the naked eye and agree well with those calculated using angular spectrum analysis.
