Abstract

Using longitudinally electron-beam excited mixture of argon, krypton, and fluorine, 115 J (9. 95 J/l) of the KrF laser energy with a pulse width of 45 ns was obtained with an intrinsic efficiency of 4%. The corresponding peak power was 2. 56 GW. Maximum energy was obtained using a 1. 25-atm mixture of Ar/Kr/F//2 equals 89. 4/10/0. 6(%).
