Abstract

For developing recent complex computing systems, it is essential to examine many factors of the system using software simulator in the early step of design. However, there is no simulator that can easily implement a new system with high-end processors. ISIS-SimpleScalar combines the benefits of both ISIS and SimpleScalar by incorporating SimpleScalw into ISIS library. ISIS-SimpleScalar enables detailed simulation of multiprocessor systems with high-end processors.
