Improvised assembly mechanism for VNA applications

Abstract

This paper proposes Improvised Assembly Mechanism (IAM), a novel mechanism for constructing Virtual Network Appliances (VNA). IAM enables the automatic assembly of VNA with distributed functional components in a component-initiated and ad-hoc manner.
