Results: Cardiomyocyte-specific knockout of KLF4 enhanced-adrenoreceptor agonist-induced cardiac hypertrophy by modulating myocardin expression and activity.
Conclusion: KLF4 is a novel regulator of cardiac hypertrophy.
Significance: Control of KLF4 is a potential therapeutic target for cardiac hypertrophy.
