Abstract

Recently, with the rapid progress of computer technology, there is a growing need for large scale nonlinear finite element analyses. However, these calculations take a lot of time and have large storage requirements. The authors have applied the ICCG method, which is one of the iterative solutions, to the three dimensional finite element analysis by supercomputer. Using the ICCG method, large problems with over 10,000 nodes have been solved in a short computational time and with good accuracy.
