Link power budget advantage of GI-core polymer optical waveguide for waveguide-based optical link

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate that GI-core polymer optical waveguides provide a 3.4-dB advantage in power budget of optical link composed of waveguides and MMF, compared to SI-core polymer optical waveguides.
