Magnetic field effect on the magnetic properties of (Cr 1-xTix)5S6

Abstract

The following three categories for the magnetic transition features are revealed on (Cr1-xTix)5S6. Category I: the antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition occurs. Category II: the ferromagnetic state loses the spontaneous magnetization. Category III: a field-induced magnetization significantly appears below "T C", and the spontaneous magnetization, accompanied by spin-glass like components, revives below TA (<"TC").
