Abstract

This work demonstrates the magnetization process of submicron zigzag shaped Co wires fabricated by electron-beam lithography. The field dependent magnetization switching by changing the orientation of the fields. The magnetization switching profiles are consistently interpreted based on the magnetostatic energetics involving domain wall energy created at the zigzag corners.
