N2 - This paper presents an over-the-air method for updating the software of consumer devices such as mobile phones and car navigation systems. Software update is carried out using binary difference technology, software construction technology, and fast compression technology. In this paper, we focus on a fast BPE (byte pair encoding) method of program codes on devices and obtain good results using it.
