Abstract

In digital mobile radio systems, frequency is reused in different small hexagonal areas to obtain good spectral efficiency. The authors consider the configuration of the directional mobile antenna that will reduce the cochannel interference. They consider the beamwidth of the directional antenna of the mobile for several different base station locations.
