Multi-channel polymer waveguides with parabolic and W-shaped index circular cores for high-speed optical interconnections

Abstract

We fabricate parallel optical waveguides with parabolic and W-shaped index circular cores for optical interconnections. These novel waveguides show extremely low loss and strong crosstalk reduction, due to the parabolic and W-shaped profiles.
