The composition of a liquid membrane and the ion solution conditions were investigated for highly efficient transport of Nausing a liquid membrane incorporating monensin. As a result, Nain an aqueous solution could be nearly completely (more than 99 %) separated using a 2-fluoro-2'-nitrodipbenyl ether (FNDPE) liquid membrane containing monensin.
