Abstract
The specimens of Calvatia deposited in Herbarium Bogoriense (BO), Indonesia, are examined and four species are recognized. Among them, C. vinosa collected from Tanimbar Islands, Eastern Indonesia, is described as a new species. This species has depressed globose to subglobose basidiomata, wine red to reddish purple endoperidium and subglobose, verrucose basidiospores. The other three species, C. boninensis, C. craniiformis, and C. cyathiformis are newly recorded from Indonesia.
