Optical spectrum analyzer for optical short pulses using arrayed waveguide grating

    Abstract

    We propose a novel method for measuring short-optical-puise spectra based on a time-space conversion using an arrayed waveguide grating. Spectra of 8ps and 670fs laser pulse were successfully observed with a resolution of 15GHz.
