Optical Triode Switch Module with a Nonlinear Etalon

Abstract

An optical triode switch module with a nonlinear etalon using GRIN lenses is proposed. This configuration facilitated adjustment of detuning to a sufficient degree by using features of a GRIN lens of position to angle conversion. We fabricated the switch module, which was demonstrated at a high on-off ratio (~10:1).
