Abstract

CASBEE (Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency) is widely used as the assessment system for green buildings in Japan. For the promotion of the low-carbon society, it is necessary to take the lead in introducing the assessment method that induces an approach to the low-carbon society into CASBEE. This paper reports the outline of this approach in the 2010 revised edition of CASBEE-NC (New Construction).
