Abstract

Our preliminary experience with the application of percutaneous cryoablation using argon-based cryosystem for malignant lung tumors under CT fluoroscopic guidance is reported. Appropriate image guide and puncturing method for this procedure was discussed. Complications and changes in the CT appearance were reviewed and indications of this procedure were mentioned. This procedure was feasible in all cases and carried out with no major complications. Our preliminary experience confirms the feasibility, safety and efficacy of this procedure for malignant lung tumors.
