Abstract

We developed a two-step poling process to fabricate a periodically domain inverted poled polymer waveguide for quasiphase-matched second harmonic generation. The process is a combination of contact-poling and corona-poling. Periodical domain inversion with a 100 μm period was confirmed by measuring the second harmonic wave power distribution.
