Abstract

Arbitrary shaped and amplified femtosecond pulses were measured with phase-only filters using crosscorrelation and spectral interferogram schemes. The femtosecond pulse shaping instrument was placed between an oscillator and a regenerative amplifier. Phase-only filters were designed by simulated annealing optimization method for the targeted profile. The results showed that the spectral phase jump can be reconstructed from the spectral interferogram.
