Abstract

Transparent and flexible film containing much Gd3+ ion was prepared by casting the complex solution of poly(methacrylic acid-co-methy lacrylate) (molar ratio 1:3) and Gd3+ ion. The complexed Gd3+ ion was uniformly dispersed in the film and showed paramagnetism (2.7 × 10−2 emu mol−1 at room temperature).
