The contribution to the kernel of the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov equation from quark-anti-quark pairs produced in Reggeon-Reggeon interactions has been determined. In order to evaluate this contribution, the squared modulus of the amplitude for the production of such a pair has been summed over the color and spin states of the Reggeons and quarks involved and has been integrated with respect to the relative momentum of the quarks forming the pair and with respect to its invariant mass. The differential distributions of product particles have also been obtained.
